How To Replace Lid Switch Lock Assembly On Frigidaire Washer Top-Load Model

Switch off the water and electricity

Reinstall the console

Position the console on the top of the panel and snap the mounting clips to secure the console on the top panel. Install the screws on the top of the back panel and secure them.

 

Install the screws on the back panel in a second time

Reinstall the screws at the top of the control console’s hinges. The screws should be tightened. Place the tabs on the right side of the wire cover in the slots and then line up the holes on the left side and put the mounting screw in. Attach the wire cover by tightening the mounting screw.

 

The water supply valves to restore water and power

Connect the Frigidaire washer to the outlet. Restore the Frigidaire washer in the original location. You should now be able to replace the lid switch/lock assembly on a top-loading Frigidaire washer.
